Elevate offers two methods for price testing:
Uses Shopify's cart transform function to dynamically adjust prices at checkout. This method keeps your original product structure, requires no product duplication, and maintains clean product URLs. Due to Shopify's platform limitations, the cart transform function is only available to Shopify Plus stores - this is a restriction set by Shopify, not by Elevate.
Creates duplicate products with different prices for testing. This method works with any Shopify store plan and creates separate URLs for each price variant while maintaining the original product structure. This allows for complete price testing functionality without requiring Shopify Plus.
First, identify if your store is on Shopify Plus or not. Then, follow the corresponding guide based on your store type. Shopify Plus stores should proceed with the Cart Transform Method Setup Guide, while standard Shopify stores should follow the Product Duplication Method Setup Guide.
